TV Tokyo station has broadcasted the first episodes of Cowboy Bebop, an animated series that was soon to become a cultural phenomenon. This Sunrise production anime served as a gateway to one generation of kids. To this day we can enjoy the stunning visual while listening to the wonderful jazz soundtrack while keeping up with the genre switches of the show. It goes from western to pulp fiction in ten seconds flat. And when it comes to the characters - they're very cool.

Twenty-three years later the Cowboy Bebop story returns in an adaptation produced by Tomorrow Studios in association with Sunrise. There is one thing that live-action can do very well and that is character interaction. Actors can do subtle, nuanced things to signal the relationship between their characters, and that's so fun to see!
This site is where I'll be writing about the adaptation, as I appreciate how it tried to look at some motifs differently and provide a different conclusion. The core experience is now accessible to, perhaps, a different set of people and it's always fun having a new people to discuss things with.
